WOOD-RIDGE, NJ - The Borough of Wood-Ridge passed three resolutions on second and final reading at Wednesday evening's regularly scheduled Council Meeting.  All three resolutions passed unanimously. 


ORDINANCE NO. 2019-12 (add streets to existing ordinance in proximity to train)

An ordinance to amend the Wood-Ridge code specifically set forth Section 513-87 by the addition of those streets designated as parking restricted in proximity to the train station.

  • Anderson Avenue
  • Columbia Street
  • Jefferson Street
  • Madison Street
  • Wood-Ridge Street.

ORDINANCE NO. 2019-13 (add Sussex Road to existing ordinance) 

An ordinance to amend the Wood-Ridge code specifically set forth in section 513-82 by the addition thereto of those streets designated as parking prohibited in certain hours. 

  • Sussex Road - Hackensack St to dead end.   8 am to 10 am. 

ORDINANCE NO. 2019-14 (Amend Property Maintenance - Establishing Standards for the Maintenance and Condition of Parking Lots) 

An ordinance to amend Chapter 407 of the Wood-Ridge code entitles Property Maintenance by the addition thereto of section 407 entitled Parking Lots.

  • Application from Friends of the Hasbrouck Heights Public Library for an On Premise 50/50 on October 30, 2019 at the Fiesta,
  • Application for block party at dead end of Windsor Road and 10th Street on October 12, 2019.

All applications listed above have been reviewed and approved by the Wood-Ridge Police Department.
