WOOD-RIDGE, NJ - Wood-Ridge residents got a look into the future on Wednesday night, as Wood-Ridge High School seniors became civic leaders for an hour, as Youth Takeover Day saw the Wood-Ridge Council and Mayor replaced by their youthful counterparts.

Youth Mayor Isabella Iacovino presided over the Youth Council as they went through the night’s agenda, which included passing two ordinances, one on final reading, one of initial reading.

(The regular Council also votes on any official business.)
