HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ - More than 50 residents showed up this past Saturday, despite the unseasonable wind and cold temperatures, to participate in the Hasbrouck Heights Green Team's second town-wide cleanup.  The organization's first town-wide clean up event was in May.

The overwhelming turnout was yet another example of Hasbrouck Heights residents taking their town pride very seriously and doing their part to help keep their community beautiful and protect our environment, said a Green Team member.

Local Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Band Students, high school students, families, and individual residents looking to support this initiative, showed up to participate.  Together, they collected 20 bags of trash, recyclables and other assorted waste.
