WOOD-RIDGE, NJ -- The Borough of Wood-Ridge is offering complimentary yoga throughout the month of August. The program is sponsored by the Wood-Ridge Mayor and Council and Wood-Ridge Recreation Commission. It is free to all residents.
Sunday morning Yoga will be held on the Wood-Ridge High School Turf Field with Anna, from 8 to 9 a.m. The dates are August 4, 11, 18 and 25. In case of inclement weather, free class will be held at the Civic Center, 495 Highland Avenue.
Yoga classes are also available weekdays. Summer Yoga with Anna will be held on the Wood-Ridge High School Turf Field on Monday August 12, Wednesday, August 21, and Monday August 26. Sessions will run from 8 to 9 a.m.
Participants are asked to bring their own yoga mat, wear comfortable clothing, refrain from eating two hours before class. Get the ok from a physician before beginning any new exercise program.
