HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ - The Hasbrouck Heights Chamber of Commerce, Mayor Jack DeLorenzo and the Mayor's Community Celebrations Committee are inviting families and town organizations to participate in the Holiday Float Contest in conjunction with the Hasbrouck Heights Chamber of Commerce Holiday Parade, scheduled from Friday, November 29.
Entries are open to Hasbrouck Heights families, Scouts, PTA, church and town organizations. Prizes will be awarded for First, Second or Third prize in several categories, including Most Original, Artistic, Creative, Unusual and Funniest. Floats can be one of three sizes: 5 x 8, 8 x 10, or over 8 x 10.
Floats will gather on the Boulevard between Paterson and LaSalle Avenues at 6:30 p.m. to be judged before joining the parade.
All entry forms must be returned to the Borough Clerk’s office before Monday, November 25. Questions can be directed to the Clerk’s office at 201-288-0195.
