HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ  - The Hasbrouck Heights Elks Lodge is hosting A Magical Holiday Night on Thursday, December 19, at 7pm.

This is the first-ever event for the Hasbrouck Heights Elks, according to Joyce Powell. Stopping by the lodge will be one of the Salomone Decorated Cement Mixer Trucks, which is decorated with over 50,000 lights and plays music.  Powell said that two members helped with arranging the truck's appearance. The Wayne-based company has been decorating its fleet and spreading holiday joy for seven years, participating in community parades and children's parties, she explained.

There will also be a balloon artist and refreshments.

But the true headliner of the evening will be a visit from Santa Claus, who stop for last minute requests from the children.

The event is free, and no reservations are needed, however, parents can let the lodge know how many will be attending for planning purposes.

The Hasbrouck Heights Elks Lodge is located at 128 Baldwin Avenue.
