HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ - Woodland Park in Hasbrouck Heights will re-open on Saturday, May 2, according to an email from Mayor Jack DeLorenzo.

I’ve decided to open up the Borough Parks effective tomorrow, 5/2, at 7:00 am, and encourage residents to get out and enjoy the spring weather.

I have also spoken with Dr. Helfant and he has advised that the Board of Education is discussing the possibility of opening Depken Field.

The re-opening of Woodland Park comes on the heels of Governor Murphy's reopening of state parks, and Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco's reopening of county parks and some golf courses.

The borough's park was shutdown in early April.
