HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ - In a meet that came down to the final relay, Mahwah defeated Hasbrouck Heights, 230-217 in a recreational swim meet at the Hasbrouck Heights Swim Club Monday evening. 

Relays are scored on a 7-point, winner take all scoring system, and Hasbrouck Heights trailed, 223-217 going into the boys 15-17 year old 200 Freestyle relay.  Mahwah pulled out the final race of the evening, and the meet, 230-217.

The meet was nip and tuck all evening, with Mahwah pulling ahead and Hasbrouck Heights coming back and pulling ahead, then Mahwah going back ahead. Hasbrouck Heights made a huge comeback in the relays, winning four straight relays to pull within six points with one race remaining.
