WOOD-RIDGE, NJ - The Wood-Ridge Council announced the following events have been either canceled or modified due to the ongoing restrictions due to COVID-19 pandemic.

The May 17th Blue Mass at Assumption Church will now be celebrated entirely online on Facebook at 11 am.

The May 25th Memorial Day Service has been canceled.

Keep Wood-Ridge Beautiful Town wide Clean-up on June 7 has been canceled, except for the paper shredding truck will still be outside the Civic Center from 9 am - 1 pm.

Wood-Ridge Town Day on Valley Boulevard, scheduled for June 14th, has been canceled. 

Wood-Ridge Council President Phil Romero, announced that the Wood-Ridge Little League has not yet fully canceled the 2020 season, hoping that the potential for a short summer season in July or August still exists.

Councilman Ezio Altamura stated that the New Jersey Striders, the organization that runs the recreation track meets, has canceled the 2020 spring season.  Altamura also noted that there will be a Recreation Committee meeting next Wednesday evening, at which time the summer recreation program will discuss its plans for the summer.
