WOOD-RIDGE, NJ -- Wood-Ridge Public Education Foundation awarded 261 Innes Road as the Best Decorated Home in Wood-Ridge.  This is the first year that the Wood-Ridge Public Education Foundation, a nonprofit 501(C) (3) with 100% funding go towards the Wood-Ridge public school district, sponsored the event.

The holiday spirited contest was judged from December 17- 20 by Wood-Ridge community stakeholders from the Wood-Ridge School District, Board of Education, Mayor and Council, Wood-Ridge Fire Department, Knights of Columbus and local business owners.

The holiday home decorating winner won a $50.00 gift card to ShopRite and a lawn sign honoring the home’s holiday pride. A Best Block category was added to the contest as well.  In order, to be considered for Best Block a home on the block had to register for the contest which was a $20.00 donation entry fee.  The block with the most homes decorated was Wood-Ridge Avenue.
