According to a statement from Senator Sarlo's office, the "significance is to promote small, Group 1 public high school football in northern New Jersey and demonstrate how student/athletes can travel, dine and visit a museum together, while still competing against each other at a very competitive level."

(Editor's Note: TAPinto will attend the press conference and provide additional details on the opening day game/trip.)
