WOOD-RIDGE, NJ - The Wood-Ridge School District announced that the junior/senior high school would temporarily return to remote learning after an individual tested positive for COVID-19.

The announcement from Superintendent of School Nicholas Cipriano came Monday. Students and teachers would return to remote learning from Tuesday, November 17 through November 25. In-person classes are scheduled to resume on Monday, November 30, after the Thanksgiving holiday break.

The announcement canceled the NJSIAA playoff games for both the girls and boys soccer teams on Monday.

Dear Parents and Guardians,                                    

Today, an individual at Wood-Ridge Jr./Sr. High School tested positive for the Coronavirus. Due to the number of staff members required to quarantine we are unable to adequately staff the building. The high school will be closed until Monday, November 30, 2020. Students, faculty, and teacher aides will engage in remote learning from November 17th to November 25th. In-person instruction will resume on November 30th with cohort 1.
