WOOD-RIDGE, NJ - Following the swearing in ceremonies, Women Empowered Democratic Organization (WE DO) of Bergen County President Cristina Cutrone, and Fair Lawn Councilwoman, and Vice-President Julie O’Brien, former Bergen County Freeholder, made a presentation to Councilwoman Catherine Cassidy.

They noted that their organization makes presentation to all of the women who are elected to local councils in Bergen County during the swearing in ceremonies, noting that had them spread rather thin at representation, since most towns are doing so over the next three days.

“We normally do not have more than one of us at a presentation,” Cutrone stated. “But Councilperson Cassidy has been such an inspiration, and provided such good council to our organization, we both wanted to come and make the presentation.”

Cassidy thanked them for the recognition, and noted “I wish this organization had been around when I ran in 1998.”
