WOOD-RIDGE, NJ - Wood-Ridge administered the oath of office to three new police officers Wednesday evening at the Borough of Wood-Ridge Council meeting.

Officers Jeffrey M.. Fantacone, Devin J. Ochiuzzo and Roberto F. Cangialosi were sworn, by Mayor Paul Sarlo. All three were joined by their families at the swearing in. After the oaths were administered, each received their Wood-Ridge Police Department badges.  

All three officers currently reside in Wood-Ridge.  Wood-Ridge Police Chaplain Father Paul Keenan of Assumption Church said a short prayer blessing the officers at the end of the swearing in ceremony.

As part of the Council’s regular business, the following resolutions were passed as part of the consent agenda.  

033-2019 Resolution Authorizing Payment of Bills.
034-2019 Resolution Approving 2018 Tax Court Settlement for Block 214 Lot 11.
035-2019 Resolution Approving 2018 Tax Court Settlement for Block 323 Lot 8.
036-2019 Resolution Approving Interlocal Mutual Aid Plan and Rapid Deployment Force.
037-2019 Resolution Authorizing Bergen County Utilities Authority to Provide Services for a Certified Recycling Coordinator.
038-2019 Resolution Authorizing Mayor and Clerk to Execute Agreement with City of Hackensack Health Department for Child Health Care Clinic.
039-2019 Resolution Appointing Jeffrey M. Fantacone, Devin J. Ochiuzzo and Roberto F. Cangialosi as Police Officers of the Wood-Ridge Police
Department.
040-2019 Resolution Authorizing Mayor and Clerk to Execute Amendment to Animal Cruelty Shared Services Agreement with Bergen County.
041-2019 Resolution of Recognition and Congratulations to Eagle Scout Matthew Connor Cordes.
042-2019 Resolution Approving Water Main Extension on Ethel Boulevard from Bridge Development Partners to Suez Water.
043-2019 Resolution Approving Right of Way Entry Agreement with PSE&G forBlock 229, Lots 4 & 6 and Block 253, Lot 1.

There was a waiving of the reading of the reports of the Council, Officers, and Departments, which are all on file with the Borough Clerk.
