HASBROUCK HEIGHTS/SEASIDE, NJ -- For the past 26 years, the Polar Bear Plunge at Seaside has been a marquee fundraising event hosted for Special Olympics New Jersey. Since its inception, the Polar Bear Plunge has raised over $21 million and has had over 80,000 Plungers jump into the Atlantic Ocean. In 2018 alone, the Seaside event raised a record $2,212,019 as 7,169 brave participants took the frosty dip.
