PISCATAWAY, NJ – A Piscataway man is facing weapons and destruction of evidence charges after a recent Snapchat video post caused fear to spread across the township, said police officials.
Darryl Maddox, 32 was arrested and charged on Wednesday with one count of possession of an assault firearm in the second degree, one count of possession of a large capacity ammunition magazine in the fourth degree, and one count of destruction of evidence in the fourth degree for discarding the magazine, said police.

Investigators determined Maddox was in possession of the firearm and ammunition, said Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Piscataway Police Chief Michael McLaughlin.
