HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ  - Live in Hasbrouck Heights and want to make sure you are notified in case of emergencies by the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department?  

The Hasbrouck Heights Police Department announced that residents can sign up for the borough's Reverse 911 service. 

Through Reverse 911, borough residents would receive urgent notifications from the police or borough officials. So far this year, the service has been utilized four to five times.

According to Hasbrouck Heights Police Chief Michael Colaneri Sr., residents who wish to receive Reverse 911 alerts via landline or cell, can do one of the following:

1. Text the word “Add” to the phone number 551-722-4100 and follow the instructions received via text from Swiftreach 911.

2. Log-on to the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department website at WWW.HHPD.COM (scroll down; right side; click on Swift911 icon).

3. Or call Joanne at the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department, Records Bureau at 201-288-6020, with the following information:       Name, Phone Number, and Home Address.
