HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ - Hasbrouck Heights School District is in the final stages of installing a new electronic message board in front of the high school/middle school on the Boulevard.

The old, manual board was removed several months ago, and the empty spot just had the base pole. According to Superintendent of Schools Dr. Matthew Helfant, the school will need to run electrical service to the main building.

The old message board was one-sided and faced the Boulevard. The new board is two-sided, which will be seen by cars going both north and south on the Boulevard. Helfant noted messages will also be digitally input and controlled, which eliminates the need for students to manually change the board.
