Personnel replacements included Guidance Counselor Melanie Maida (replacement for Christina Tenore), Special Ed/ELA Jessica Demkin (replacement for Lara Schmitt), and fourth grade teacher Courtney Barrows (replacement for Jessica Ripp.)

In the Hearing of Citizens, parent Kris Amels questioned the Board why a flyer for a Hasbrouck Heights church's vacation bible school program was sent home in her child's backpack, saying it looks as if the district approves of the program. Chief School Administrator Nick Cipriano explained that the approved flyer was to "provide information and resources to the community" during the summer. Board attorney Dan Roberts said the backpack flyers are protected as a "limited purpose public forum" for different groups and organizations. Board member Christopher Garvin suggested maybe putting a disclaimer at the bottom.

Parent Nina Kedersha asked whether there was a decision on the status of Assistant Superintendent Dr. Susan DeNobile. Board president Albie Nieves said there had been no decision and could not give a timeframe for it.

The Board went back into closed session with no action to be decided.
