BETHLEHEM, PA  - Hasbrouck Heights Mickey O’Malley, wrestling at 174 pounds for Drexel University, finished fourth in the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association (EIWA) Championships, held Saturday at Lehigh University.  By finishing fourth, he locked in his bid to the upcoming NCAA Championships.

O’Malley, who was undefeated yesterday, dropped his opening match of the day to top seed Jordan Kutler of Lehigh by decision, 4-0.  He bounced back, winning his next match, with Sage Heller of Hofstra, by a 6-4 decision. With the win he advanced to the consolation final, and qualifed for the NCAA Champioships.

He dropped his final match to Ben Harvey of Army, 6-1, finishing fourth in the EIWA Championships.

The NCAA Championships will be held March 19-21 at US Bank Stadium in Minnesota.
