HASBROUCK HEIGHTS/WOOD-RIDGE, NJ -  It is county tournament time.   

The Wood-Ridge boys baseball was seeded 19th and will face 14th seed Paramus Wednesday afternoon at 4:15 in Paramus.  The Blue Devils enter the tournament 10-5 overall. Paramus is 10-3 on the season.

Hasbrouck Heights, at 6-6, is not in the tournament.

On the softball side, Wood-Ridge was ranked 28th, and sent on the road to play against fifth seed Ramapo, 3 pm Saturday.  Hasbrouck Heights was ranked 6th, and will host Midland Park at 4 pm Friday, May 3. First round games are at the home field of the highest seed.  Second round games will be either at Tisdale Elementary School, Ramsey, 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. or Westwood Regional, 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.on Sunday.
