COOPERSTOWN, NY -  Sunday’s scheduled game between Wood-Ridge and Cresskill at Doubleday Field in Cooperstown was rained out.  This is the second game this year that was scheduled for Cooperstown that was canceled.

Earlier in the season, field conditions after the winter caused the Wood-Ridge/Hasbrouck Heights game to play back at Wood-Ridge High School on April 17.

Sunday, it was the rain.

But the team did get at the opportunity yesterday to at least visit the Hall of Fame, Doubleday Field and pose for a team picture (out of uniform though) before a joint team dinner at a bar-b-que place near the team hotel.

After a team breakfast, they were informed the game was rained out, and headed back home early so that the everyone would be home for Mother's Day.
