HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ - Despite two goals from Wood-Ridge’s Seydou Camara, Hasbrouck Heights defeated the Blue Devils, 5-4 in an NJIC Meadowlands boys soccer game Friday afternoon at Hitchcock Field in Hasbrouck Heights.  The game was tied at 2-2 at the half. 

The Aviators took a 4-2 lead after the half, on goals by Ryan Garden and Victor Barris, and held off a Wood-Ridge comeback attempt.   Michael Gerges had the insurance goal to make it 5-4 that held up to be the difference.

Mario Gomez and Alec Escalante scored in the first half for the Aviators.

Joey Rose and Boubou Camara also scored for Wood-Ridge. 

The Aviators improved to 7-0 overall, 6-0 in the league on the season.  Wood-Ridge falls to 4-2 overall and league on the year.
