NORTH ARLINGTON, NJ - Rafael Mendoz scored two second half goals to break a 1-1 halftime tie as the Hasbrouck Heights boys soccer team defeated North Arlington 3-1 in a NJIC Meadowlands matchup Wednesday afternoon at Rip Collins Field in North Arlington.

Victor Barris scored the first half goal for the Aviators, who improve to 5-0 on the season and sit atop the Meadowlands Division.  North Arlington falls to 4-1 on the season. 

Thiago Alves scored for North Arlington, while Tony Alho recorded 19 save for the Vikings.

Alec Escalante and Michael Gerges added assists for Hasbrouck Heights.  Logan Kennedy had five saves in picking up the victory.
