SECAUCUS, NJ - Due to the COVID-19 pandemic canceling the 2020 Spring Season, the New Jersey Interscholastic Conference decided to honor all the 2020 seniors who would have been playing their final seasons with All-Division Honors.

"Thank you to the Senior Class of all of our member schools," stated Stan Fryczynski via press release. "Your contributions, dedication, sacrifice, and teamwork set an example for all who follow in your footsteps."

Hasbrouck Heights head track coach Rob Brady was confident that he had once again had an outstanding team, and was excited for the team’s prospects at the meet, league, county and state levels.

“We had a great team ready to go this year, “ Brady stated.  “We had great senior leadership that would have propelled our team to many championships this season.”

“ We were ready to defend our League, county, and state sectional titles that we won in 2019,” Brady stated.  Our boys 4 x 4 team (Malikie Burrell, Rocco Minichiello, John Sedlmeir, Michael Robertson, Vincent Sedlmeir, Damian Summers) was ready to be one of the best in Bergen County this year.”

“This senior class loved track, for most of them it was their sport, it would have been an exciting, fun, successful year,” Brady said.  “In my opinion this year's team would have the chance to be the best boys track team in the history of our program. We had big point scorers in the sprints, hurdles, distance, throws, and jumps. We also had great depth in the sprints, hurdles, jumps, throws, and distance areas of the team in this class:”

Four members of the team, Nick Bua (Felician University), Maliki Burrell (Penn State Harrisburg), TK Kasper (walk-on Kutztown University) and Joe Canavatchel (walk-on Manhattan College) are planning to continue their track careers next year in school.
