HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ - Five different Aviators scored touchdowns as the Hasbrouck Heights JV team defeated Emerson, 40-0, on Monday afternoon at Depken Field in Hasbrouck Heights.
Brendan Miller scored two touchdowns on the day as the Aviators dominated on the ground. The Aviators did not punt once in the game.
Anthony DiLascio started the scoring early with a 4-yard run for an early 6-0 lead, on the final play of the first quarter. Miller scored early in the second quarter, again from for four yards out for a 12-0 lead. Miller increased the lead to 14-0 when he hit Jadan Nelson for the two-point conversion.
Mohammed Assaf scored right before the end of the first half on a five-yard run to give the Aviators a 20-0 lead.
The domination continued in the third quarter, as Isaiah Barone scored on an end around for a 26-0 lead. Damian Lalama converted the extra point.
Even the special teams got into the act, as David Morgan scored off a punt block, returning it 35 yards for a score.
