HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ - Hasbrouck Heights head football coach Nick Delcalzo has announced his retirement it was announced at the Board of Education reorganization Thursday evening.

The announcement comes after the Aviators streak of three straight Group 1 titles was ended last year in the North 2, Group 1 final.  Delcalzo retires with a 270-90-1 mark, good for 74.7 winning percentage during his 35 years as head coach.  His teams won six sectional titles, two North Jersey Interscholastic Conference titles, and the first Group I Bowl game in 2018 in MetLife stadium. 

Delcalzo stated via text that he was retiring to "spend more time with his family."

He will be recognized at the next meeting of the Board of Education, January 23.
