HARRISON, NJ - Harrison jumped out to 17-5 lead after one quarter and hung on for a 45-39 victory Saturday in Harrison in a NJIC Independent game.   

Hasbrouck Heights started their comeback in the second, outscoring the Blue Tide 11-6 to cut the lead to 23-16 going into the half.  The Lady Aviators outscored Harrison 15-12 in the fourth but it was not enough to overcome the sluggish first quarter.

Devon Sonzogni scored 15 while Paige McGuire had 11 for the Lady Aviators, while Veronica Legaspi had her season-high with nine points.

Emily Leiras had 13 to lead Harrison.
