WALLINGTON, NJ - Sophomore Paige McGuire scored 16 points and Hasbrouck Heights played tight defense as the Lady Aviators defeated Wallington 31-12 in a NJIC Meadowlands basketball matchup on Friday evening.   The win evens Hasbrouck Heights record in the conference at 1-1 and improves their overall mark to 3-1.  

Leading 5-4 at the end of one period, the Lady Aviators broke open the game, outscoring the Panthers 10-0 in the second quarter for a comfortable 15-4 lead at the half. McGuire had five of the Aviators 10 points in the quarter.

Any chance of a comeback was thwarted early, as the Lady Aviators outscored Wallington 12-4 in the third quarter.  The teams played a 4-4 fourth quarter.
