WOOD-RIDGE, NJ - Wood-Ridge jumped out to an early 19-8 lead and held on to hand Saddle Brook their first NJIC Meadowland Division loss, 47-43,in girls basketball Thursday afternoon in Wood-Ridge.  The Lady Blue Devils improved 10-2 in the Meadowlands, and trail Saddle Brook by one game the loss column, as the Lady Falcons fall to 9-1.

Amanda DiMase led Wood-Ridge with 21 points, while Natalie Cala scored 11 in the win. 

Saddle Brook outscored Wood-Ridge 10-5 in the second quarter to cut the lead to six at the half, 24-18.  Wood-Ridge reversed the score in third quarter, to take a 34-23 lead into the fourth quarter.

Saddle Brook rallied, outscoring Wood-Ridge 21-13, but could not catch the Lady Blue Devils.

Ashley Georgevich had 15 for Saddle Brook, while Ella Marchesani had 14.
