WOOD-RIDGE, NJ - Samantha Eckert’s basket with 6:19 remaining put Wood-Ridge in front for good, 20-19, as the Lady Blue Devils beat Hasbrouck Heights 47-32 in an NJIC Meadowlands girls basketball game on Tuesday afternoon in Wood-Ridge.  

Amanda DiMase followed with a pair of baskets down low as Wood-Ridge took advantage of superior size to take control in the second half.

The Lady Aviators used the three point shooting of sophomores Devon Sonzogni and Paige McGuire to lead 19-18 at the break.

Wood-Ridge outscored Hasbrouck Heights 14-4 in the third quarter to take a nine point lead into the fourth quarter.  

Eckert scored six in the fourth quarter as the Lady Blue Devils put the game away,

DiMase had a game-high 17 points, while Natalie Cala sank four three pointers to finish with 12.  Sonzogni had 13 points for the Lady Aviators, while McGuire nailed three pointers for nine points.
