WOOD-RIDGE, NJ -  Samantha Eckert dominated inside as Wood-Ridge defeated Harrison, 61-39, in an independent girls' basketball game Saturday morning in Wood-Ridge. Eckert had 14 points and 20 rebounds to lead Wood-Ridge, who improved to 15-5 on the season with the win.

Wood-Ridge led 16-11 after one quarter, and 30-19 at the half before an 18-2 third quarter put the game away.  

Amanda DiMase led the Blue Devils with 15 points while Natalie Cala had 13 and Jenna Castellano had 10.  All three made three three-pointers in the game.
