HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ - What was supposed to be a road game turned to a home game because of the weather, and Hasbrouck Heights took advantage of that good fortune, as a pair of errors scored two in the fourth inning, en route to a 3-0 victory over New Milford Saturday morning.

Scoreless in the bottom of the fourth, with Kimmy Halpin at first, Olivia Marinelli singled to right field, with Halpin taking a wide turn and drawing a throw to third.  The throw got away and into dead ball territory, scoring Halpin and putting Marinelli at third. Marinelli then scored on an error when Elizabeth Connelly hit a ball to left that mishandled by the Knights left field for a 2-0 lead.

Erin Owens knocked in an insurance run in the sixth, scoring Halpin.
