NEW YORK, NY,  -  Hasbrouck Heights swept the NJIC Indoor Track Championships, winning both the girls and boys titles.  The boys captured the title with a convincing 61-41 win over Manchester, with Emerson finishing in tie for third with 40 points with Glen Rock. Park Ridge was fifth with 36 points.

On the girls side, the Lady Aviators had rougher battle, edging Rutherford 67-61.5. Glen Rock was third with 39.5 points, while Waldwick (30) and Saddle Brook (26).  

Vincent Sedlmeir's win in the 55-meter hurdles was the only first place for the Aviators on the boy's side, but their superior depth once again carried the day, scoring points in 10 of the meet's 12 events.

Maliki Burrell finished third in the 55-meter dash, fourth in the long jump and 8th in the 400 meters.  Vincent Sedlmeir was third in the high jump, and the two joined Michael Robertson and John Sedlmeir for a fourth place in the 4 x 400 meter relays.  

Peter Garifilos was third in the shot put.

The girls were led by Amber Barrios and Talia Fergusion.  Barrios took home first in the 400 and fourth in the 800 while Ferguson finished fifth in the 55-meter hurdles, third in the high jump, second in the long jump and first in the triple jump.
