HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ - A check in on three recent Hasbrouck Heights graduates who are wrestling at a Division I level in college.
Matt Dallara, Campbell University - Dallara, a sophomore has taken over at 157 pounds for the 20th ranked Camels, and sits with a 15-7 overall record on the season. He was 5-13 a year ago as a true freshman. He is 5-5 dual meets on the season, 3-1 in Southern Conference meets. He has recorded three pinfall wins, the fastest in 2:23, during the season.
Michael O’Malley, Drexel University - A redshirt freshman, Mickey has been ranked as high as 28th at the 174 pound weight class this season. During his redshirt season he went 17-4, and has followed that up with a 12-6 record this season, with a 9-3 mark in duals for the Dragons. He has four pinfalls, including one in 15 seconds, and has three technical falls and one major decision recorded this season.
Sean O’Malley, Drexel University - A redshirt sophomore, Sean has taken over the heavyweight spot, with a record of 8-10 on the year, and owns 14-23 overall mark during his career at Drexel. He has a 4-8 record in dual meets for the Dragons this season, but has not suffered a pinfall loss for Drexel this year.
