BETHLEHEM, PA - Former Hasbrouck Heights wrestlers are making their marks in their respective conference meets this week.  

The O’Malley brothers, Mickey and Sean are competing with Drexel at the EIWA Championships at Lehigh University.  

Mickey advanced to the 174 pound semi-finals, beating University of Pennsylvania wrestler Neil Astrassina by a 4-2 score in the opening match.  He then advanced to the semi-finals by beating All-American Brandon Womack of Cornell, 5-3.

Sean also won his opening match, defeating Sacred Heart University’s Connor Fredericks, by a 4-1 score.  O’Malley was defeated in his next match, falling to Harvard’s Yaraslav Slavikowski, 4-1. Slavikowsky was the top-seeded wrestler in the 285 weight class.  He dropped his next match as well, falling 3-2 to Niko Camacho of American University in the Consolation Round.

Matt Dallara will be wrestling for Campbell University Sunday in the Southern Conference meet.
