HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ -  For the third consecutive year, the Boonton High School boys soccer team has eliminated Hasbrouck Heights in the NJSIAA North 1, Group 1 playoffs.  The Bombers, edged the Aviators, 2-1, Friday afternoon at Hitchcock Field in Hasbrouck Heights.

The Aviators trailed 2-0 at the half before Victor Barris halved the lead with a penalty kick halfway through the second period, cutting the lead to 2-1.   But the Aviators were not able to get another one by the Boonton goalkeeper.

The game was a physical one, throughout.  And tempers flared after the final whistle, with a fight breaking out after the game which was brought under control by school security.
