ORADELL, NJ - Hasbrouck Heights' Hunter Freschi finished second in the NJSIAA District 7 wrestlng championships on Saturday to advance in the NJSIAA state tournament.  Freschi, by finishing second, moves on to the Sectional tournament next week.

Wrestling at 152 pounds, Freschi pinned  Elmwood Park's Jaiden Logothetis in 2:31 to capture his first match of the day.  Next, he followed up with a 4-1 decision of Ryan Collella of Wayne Valley to advance to the District final, where he was defeated by Alex Strashinski of Bergen Catholic via pinfall in 49 seconds in the final. Freschi now stand 35-7 on the season. 

Junior Drew Scuilla of Hasbrouck Heights, wrestling at 152, finished fourth for Hasbrouck Heights.  Scuilla finishes the season with a record of 26-14 on the season.

Also competing for Hasbrouck Heights were freshmen Chase Alvarez (106), Andrew Parente (113), and Oliver Fermin (138), juniors Christian Lopez (170) and David Morgan (182) and senior Max Powers (285).
