LINDEN, NJ - Two Hasbrouck Heights softball players had a busy weekend, as Brooke Freschi and Julia Campen each competed for their respective club teams.

Freschi went 4-for-15 with four runs as the NJ Sparks went 2-2-1 on the weekend at a tournament in Linden, NJ.  Freschi was 2-for-4 with two runs scored in the Sparks 8-8 tie with Diamond to the Boardroom on Saturday. The Sparks dropped a pair of games to the Monroe Thunder 14U, while picking up wins over the FireBirds and the North Jersey Rangers.

Campen and the Akadema Elite Showcase went 2-2-1 over the weekend as well, competing in Meridan, Connecticut. The Elite opened with a tie against the Raiders 7-7 on Friday.  Campen started on the mound and did not pick up a decision in the game.
