HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ --  Even though it’s winter, parents can sign up their players for the 2020 spring Hasbrouck Heights Little League season. The league has moved to an online registration process through the website, www.hhlittleleague.com.

The early bird discount will only be available through Wednesday, January 15. In addition, on Tuesday, January 14, members of HHLL will be at the VFW from 6:00-9:00 pm for assistance with registration. Registration will remain open through mid-February.

Hasbrouck Heights Little League offers six divisions of play and a travel baseball program. The programs include:

  • Tee Ball –boys and girls ages four and five, offers on-field instruction during games. Incoming six year olds must play one year of tee ball. No team standings are kept.
  • Softball –“coach pitch” softball for girls ages six to eight. Eight-year-old girls will be eligible to play in the annual softball tournament.
  • Single A –“coach pitch” for boys and girls ages six to seven, with on-field instruction during games. No team standing are kept.
  • Double AA –“kid pitch –coach assisted” for boys and girls age eight. No team standings are kept.
  • Triple AAA –“kid pitch” for boys and girls ages nine and ten. It is a competitive division with team records.
  • Majors–“kid pitch” for boys and girls ages 11 and 12. Competitive division with team records.
  • Travel Baseball -- U8 –U12 Divisions: competitive baseball played against other town travel teams. Higher commitment level for players and parents to attend practices and games. Tryouts may be required. Players must join Little League program to be eligible.
