WOOD-RIDGE, NJ - Due to the CDC guidelines for social distancing and advisement from Little League International, Wood-Ridge Little League's Opening Day, scheduled for Saturday, April 11, was postponed. But TAPinto wants to celebrate what would have been opening day for the 2020 season.

TAPinto will run a photo essay as a symbolic Little League opening day on Sunday. Parents can submit photos of their favorite baseball or softballl players. It can be from recent or not-so-recent opening days, including the parade through town, on the parade route onto the Sixth Street field, on field ceremonies for both baseball and softball, first pitch, Little League oath, or opening day with her/his teammates. We want to include players of all ages, from tball through Majors and softball.

Photos can be submitted through TAPinto's Facebook page or email, farmonaitis@tapinto.net
