HASBROUCK HEIGHTS,  NJ - A record number of Hasbrouck Heights Rec wrestlers qualified for the upcoming Regional Tournament this past Sunday when Hasbrouck Heights hosted the District Tournament.

According to head coach Andrew Nass, this year Hasbrouck Heights entered 50 wrestlers into the District tournament (three less than last year) and set a new team record for Regional Tournament qualifiers with 28, breaking last year's mark by one, and also setting a new team record for most total medals with 39 medals. 

The final totals for medals were 15 Gold Medals, 13 Silver Medals, and 11 Bronze Medals.

Here are the wrestlers who took home medals. First and Second place finishers advance to Regional Tournament:

Gold - 1st Place - Danny Guido, Marcello Bari, Deacon Delorenzo, Nico Carvajal, Nick Haines, Nick Leone, Rocco Pantiliano, Ryan Prince, Anthony Tomic, Jake Olivero, Anthony Cummings, Daniel Amendola, Connor Scuilla, Tyler Cappadona, and Matt Quish

Silver - 2nd Place - Travis Kest, Matteo Shah, Jair Vargas-shiskov, Nicolas Vargas-shiskov, Mateo Toledo, Gavin Abromowicz, Nico Nipitella, Dylan Fermin, Damon Rivera, Eoin Maloney, Brandon Karwoski, Harris Krommenhoek, and Mikey Perillo

Bronze - 3rd Place - Joseph Colangelo, Trevor Kest, Connor Simmons, Cash Hlavenka, Jove Torres, Mason Abromowicz, Dylan Dimone, Kyle Von Seidelmann, Evan Vera, Jeff Keezer, and David Drezek

The Regions will be Sunday, March 1, at Hackensack High School.
