Incident Title: MV stop / Unlawful poss. of weapons

Suspect information: Everett Nolan 20 y/o male from Greenfield Park, NY

Vehicle information: 2013 Ford Focus (black)

Description of incident: Patrol pulled over above vehicle for MV violation on Goffle Road, near Goffle Hill Road. While speaking with above suspect, the officer observed what appeared to be the handle of a handgun in the driver’s door pocket. Officers removed the driver from the vehicle and questioned him about the handgun. The suspect stated he had no idea why it was there, but later stated he had just been skeet shooting in upstate NY. The driver stated he was previously visiting a friend and went to white castle in Paterson, but couldn’t remember the name of the friend. The suspect was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon as well as motor vehicle violations.

Incident Title: MV stop / Poss. of Heroin

Suspect information: Victoria Melnick 28 y/o female from Upper Saddle River, NJ

Vehicle information: 2018 Honda Ridgeline Pickup (white)

Description of incident: Above vehicle pulled over on Goffle Road near Warburton Ave, for MV violations. While speaking with driver, she was observed to have track marks on her arms. The officer also observed drug paraphernalia between the driver’s legs. After a consent to search the vehicle was signed, the following was found: (3) glassine envelopes of heroin stamped “PAIN KILLER” in purple ink, (1) burnt glass pipe, (9) hypodermic syringes, (1) small clear zip lock baggie containing suspected crack/cocaine residue and (13) empty glassine envelopes commonly used to store heroin. She was charged and released with a CJP court date.

Incident Title: MV stop / Poss. of Marijuana

Suspect information: Gerjan Gropa (driver) 19 y/o male from Garfield, NJ; Saul Reyes (passenger) 25 y/o male from Lodi, NJ

Vehicle information: 2014 Honda 2 Door (silver)

Description of incident: Above vehicle pulled over on Wagaraw Road near Goffle Road. Officers smelled marijuana while speaking with driver. The driver stated he had previously smoked but didn’t have any contraband on him. A search of the vehicle produced (1) silver in color canister containing marijuana residue located in the open driver side door compartment, and (1) partially smoked marijuana blunt located in between the passenger side seat and the center console. Both parties were charged with Possession of Marijuana/drug paraphernalia, and the driver was issued MV violations including Operating a MV while in possession of Narcotic.

Incident Title: MV stop / Poss of Marijuana with intent to distribute

Suspect information: Franlin Martinez 22 y/o male from Paterson, NJ

Vehicle information: 2006 VW Gti (red)

Description of incident: Above party pulled over on Goffle Road near Lynack Ave. Officers smelled Marijuana coming from vehicle while speaking with driver. Driver stated he had nothing on him. A search of the vehicle was then conducted which yielded the following result: (5) individually wrapped baggies of marijuana located in a mason jar in a black plastic bag underneath the driver seat. The driver was arrested for possession of marijuana. While processing the driver at HQ, the suspect’s phone received multiple text messages which appeared on the front display of the phone. The messages all appeared to be customers asking about their delivery of marijuana from the above suspect. The suspect was then charged with:

Incident Title: MV stop / Possession of syringe /paraphernalia.

Suspect information: Katherine Dorris 29 y/o female from Wyckoff, NJ

Vehicle information: 2013 Toyota Corolla (black)

Description of incident: Above vehicle was pulled over on Goffle Road near North 8th Street for MV violations. While speaking with the driver, the officer observed paraphernalia on the floor of the vehicle (a syringe cap and bottle cap). Driver agreed to consent to search and the following was found: four (4) hypodermic syringes, which were located in the trunk of the vehicle, four (4) water bottle caps with suspected heroin residue, one (1) small rubber band commonly used to bundle heroin, one (1) cigarette with the filter ripped out and seven (7) syringe caps were all located throughout the front driver side and passenger side seats as well as twelve (12) empty glassine envelopes, commonly used to package heroin were located in a Camel cigarette box within the center console.


She was arrested and charged with the following:

1604 S 2018 000245 - 2C:36-6A(2) Possession of hypodermic syringe

Ms. Dorris was issued four motor vehicle summons for:

1604 E18 002913 - NJ 39:3-66 - Maintenance of lamps

1604 E18 002914 - NJ 39:6b-2 - No liability or insurance

1604 E18 002915 - NJ 39:8-1 - No inspection

She was released after being given a CJP court date.
