Incumbents Victorious in Hawthorne's Board of Education Election

In Hawthorne's Board of Education race on Tuesday, incumbents Michael Doyle and Michael Sciarra were re-elected convincingly, while incumbent Anthony Puluse is projected to win with a narrow lead over candidate Michael Jarvis. 

With 92% of the vote reported by the Passaic County Clerk's Office, Doyle garnered 1,689 votes (29%) and Sciarra received 1,668 votes (28.7%).  Puluse received 1,257 votes (21.65%), a 90 vote lead over Jarvis's 1,1,67 votes (20.1%). There were 25 write-in votes.

UPDATE: With 100% of the tallies reported, Anthony Puluse gained 1,440 votes, beating out Michael Jarvis's 1,304.
