HAWTHORNE, NJ - The borough of Hawthorne announced that there will be no recycling, yard waste, and garbage collection for the Independence Day holiday on Wednesday, July 4.  The usual Wednesday garbage pick-up will resume the next day along with the typical Thursday collection schedule.

The borough also reminds residents who opt to take advantage of the Bulky Waste pick-up that they may place up to six items on the curb, but those items cannot include appliances, metal, or electronics.  Such items can be brought to the Recycling Center or residents may schedule a pick-up by calling the office at 973-427-5330.
