HAWTHORNE, NJ - The borough of Hawthorne announced on Tuesday that the Municipal Building would be closed on Wednesday "until further notice" as a worker tested positive for COVID-19. The borough said that the building, which has only recently been opened on a limited basis, will undergo a "deep cleaning." Residents who have to deliver tax or water payments are instructed to use the dropbox which is found in the municipal parking lot, mail them in, or pay online.
