PROSPECT PARK, NJ - The Borough of Prospect Park announced that there will be a free rabies clinic held by the Board of Health for residents.  Those interested should mark their calendars for Saturday, November 9, between 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  The clinic will be held at the Brown Avenue Firehouse, located at 106 Brown Avenue, Prospect Park.

According to a flyer, all New Jersey residents are welcome to the clinic, but must present a valid form of ID.  Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

"Borough ordinance requires that all dogs and cats be licensed annually and proof of rabies vaccine is required to receive a license. All dogs must be on a leash and all cats in a carrier," said Intashan Chowdhury, Borough Administrator.
