PROSPECT PARK, NJ - Prospect Park Mayor Mohamed Khairullah hailed Officers Ariosto Rodrigues and Kurtis Reed on Friday, August 7.  "Congratulations to Officers Rodrigues and Reed on graduating the Class II Police Officer class at Passaic County Public Safety Academy," Khairullah said.  "We are committed to increasing the number of officers on our force and increasing the diversity of our department. Quality of life is the top issue for our administration and we will do all that we can maintain that commitment."

The occasion comes shortly after Prospect Park Police Chief Charlie Atie celebrated 29 years of police service during a retirement ceremony on July 30.  The department is currently overseen by officer-in-charge Captain Matari.
