HAWTHORNE, NJ - Hawthorne residents Judy Kopitar and Holly Cowen captured scenes from around the borough this weekend. The town was coated in a thin blanket of the fluffy white precipitate, necessitating some shoveling and, after a relatively warm week prior, a unflinching acceptance of the arrival of winter.
Dr. Daniel Ciarletta said, "Residents can expect temperatures to remain in the teens and thirties Monday through Wednesday."
