HAWTHORNE, NJ - Hawthorne Green Team Member Holly Cowen has shared more images of the little locals in town who share their homes with the human population.  With some dynamic images, Cowen has captured the speed and grace of nature, from Goffle Brook Park, her own yard, to Arnold's Pond.  Hollywood the Hawk, a resident bird of prey who is not camera shy, as well as "Lucy" the Redheaded Woodpecker (may they never meet), make up some of the birds the avian enthusiasts have identified in Hawthorne.

"Our next Green Team lecture coming up is called Green Cleaning on March 19, 7:30, at the library," Holly said.  This came after the success of the Green Team's Birding 101 Lecture held at the Louis Bay Library.
